Inspired Stamps Fun Fold Card

Hello and welcome here! This week the Inspired Stamps DT is sharing Fun-Fold cards. I chose to do a Stair-Step Card. There are lots of templates out there, I found one HERE to use. I used CTMH's Outdoor Denim CS for the base, scored and cut, and folded as per the instructions.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

I used the Nativity stamp set, and Wonderland papers from CTMH.

I added a piece of patterned paper that was a little taller than the stable to back piece of the stair-step. I added Mary and Joseph to the middle 'step', and baby Jesus is on the front, as well as the sentiment, which fit perfectly in the space.

I added Stickles to the halo over baby Jesus, and Gold Flower Soft to look like hay under the manger. I coloured Mary and Joseph with Copics.

I also added Golden Rod Stickles to the star.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Nativity, CTMH PP-Wonderland, CTMH CS-Outdoor Denim & White Daisy, Nestabilities-Fancy Tags & Labels 18, Marianne Designs Frame-LR0116, Our Daily Bread Fence Die, Papertrey Ink-Edgers #2 & Clouds, Golden Rod Stickles, Gold Flower Soft, Red Pearls, Foam Squares, Copics Used: Stable-E34, E35, E37 , Manger-E34, E35, E37, Y11, Y02, E00, BG53, Joseph & Mary-E30, E31, E34, E35, E37, E00, E000.

Hello and welcome here! It's time for another Top Tip Tuesday post:) This week it's all about Trick or Treat, and each DT member has a Tip to share with you.

Challenge - Trick or Treat
Tipper Week - Leave a tip for a chance at a prize.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

Okay, I am not a Halloween card maker BUT...this has got to be THE cutest Halloween image I have seen. I want to give a BIG thank-you to Di's Digi Downloads for sharing this image called Magician Boo...and a really cute witch called Now What.

The Sponsor's for this week:

Di's Digi Downloads: 1 prize of 5 digi stamps of your choice

Stash Books: For the Featured Tipper...a book

Check out all the bling!! I even added Stickles to the 'magic' from the wand and around the sentiment.

TIP: To save on ribbon, and save yourself frustration trying to tie a knot while holding your ribbon, make a fake knot. Attach a strip of ribbon to your card, tie a knot (or bow) from another piece of matching ribbon, attach with glue dots onto the strip of ribbon--this is how I did my ribbon above!

Recipe: Di's Digi Downloads-Magician Boo, PP-BoBunny Garden Girl 6x6 Collection, CTMH CS-White Daisy & Black, CTMH Ink-Creme Brulee, Nestabilities-Oval, Labels 18 & Labels 23, Martha Stewart Iron Gate Corner & Edge Punch, Orange Grosgrain Ribbon, Dollarama Rhinestone Border, Stickles-Lemon Ice & Crystal Ice, Foam Squares, Copics: Cape/Hat-C7, N7, C1, C3, V05, V06, Gold Gel Pen, Top Hat-C7, N7, B28, R29, Magic-Y00, Y02, Background-Woo, W1, W3, Ghost-BG0000.

For a chance to win a great prize be sure to link your creation over at Top Tip Tuesday, and when you share a tip be sure to add TIP after your name for a chance to win a book from Stash Books!

Hope you're inspired!

Super Quick Christmas Cards 2

Hello and welcome here. This is my 2nd set of quick Christmas cards that I made up to sell at the Craft Fair. If you missed the first post of Super Quick Christmas Cards you can catch up with them HERE. Like the first set, I plan to sell these for $1 at the Craft Fair so I wanted them to look elegant but not cheap.

For the Challenges I entered I listed the card that qualifies for the challenge at the end of my post.

Card Sizes: 4.25" x 5.5"

Card #1
I love Cuttlebug's Grace's Frame EF, it adds a nice finishing touch to the card. I matted Kraft CS with a dark brown CS, stamped the image with brown ink and the sentiment with black ink. I added some Golden Rod Stickles to the corners for a little sparkle.

Inside:

Stamps Used: CTMH SS-Let Us Adore Him & Glory to God

Card #2
I wanted to use some Christmas paper for some of my cards and since I didn't use a big piece on the card I was able to get 12+ cards out of a piece of 12x12. I used CTMH's Wonderland Paper Pack, and Spellbinder's Classic Scallop Edgeabilities Die to cut the mauve piece of CS. I also used Spellbinder's Snowflake die, and cut a strip of silver glitter paper to add to the card. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and added Crystal Ice Stickles to the patterened paper.
Stickles don't photograph well, lol.

Inside:

Stamps Used: Hero Arts Stamps-Greatest Gifts, CTMH-Snow Days.

Card #3
It's difficult to see, but I used dark blue CS to mat the card image, it's not black. I used Cuttlebug's Grace's Frame EF again, and stamp the sentiment with blue ink and the image with black ink. I added a yellow rhinestone to the star.

Inside:

Stamps Used: CTMH-Glory To God

Challenges Entered:
Charisma Cardz Challenges - Challenge #42 Embossing, Card #1 & #3 use an embossing folder.
Paper Play Challenges - Week 42 Use Black - Card #3 the image stamped in black.
ABC Christmas Challenges - 'U' is for Unused Stash - Card #3 is a brand new stamp.
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Spooky Hues - Card #3 uses Black & Blue.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

Inspired Stamps Card

Hello and welcome here. Today the Inspired Stamps DT could choose what stamps we wanted to share with you. Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT did by clicking on their links in my sidebar!

I have been eyeing the Lost & Found Two papers by My Mind's Eye, trying to figure out how I could utilize them on a card. I wanted the pattern to show as much as possible because it is so pretty. Using a verse from Inspired Stamps was the perfect way to show off the stamp, and the paper at the same time. I used the first half of the verse on the front, and the rest of the verse inside.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

It's difficult to see, but I added Pink Stickles around the Lacy oval, it matches the glitter on the paper perfectly. I also added a bow to where 2 of the glitter lines intersect so it appears as if I tied them up:) The bird is part of the design on the paper.

Inside:

I didn't realize until I was almost finished that the inside of my card was white...not really an oops-y, but next time I'll use cream for the inside. To decorate the inside I used Spellbinders Fancy Tags to 'frame' the sentiment.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #2, PP-My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Prism Paper-Razzleberry Dark & Iced Pink, CTMH Ink-Black, Distress Inks-Antique Linen, Nestabilities-Lacy Ovals & Fancy Tags, Marianne Designs-Flourish LR0116, Pearls, Foam Squares, Pink Stickles & Ribbon.

Super Quick Christmas Cards

Hello and welcome here. It's that time of year to start thinking about Christmas cards. I'm part of a Craft Show in November and lots of people liked my $1 Christmas cards from last year, so I thought I would make more this year....which means I need to make simple, cheap (not look cheap though), fast Christmas cards.

All Cards: 4.25" x 5.5"

The background is Cuttlebug's Snowflake EF, I added the sentiment in black and matted it with red CS, and cut the 'poinsettia' with Spellbinder's Anemone Flower Topper and finished it off with a pearl.

Inside:

Stamps Used: Hero Arts-Greatest Gift, CTMH-Let Us Adore Him & Snow Flurries.

I embossed Spellbinder's Snowflake on white CS matted with mauve CS, added the sentiment with mauve ink, and finished it off with some mauve pearls.

Inside:

Stamps Used: Our Daily Bread-Blessed Christmas, CTMH-All the Best & Glory to God.

For this card I inked up my acrylic block with blue ink, misted it with some water and 'stamped' it on white CS. I then stamped the trees in black, added white Flower Soft topped with Stickles, added a piece of blue velvet ribbon...I had a big sparkle brad but thought that it cost too much to use on a $1 card, so I cut some circles from silver sparkle paper...I added a sentiment in black.

Here you can see the Flower Soft and the sparkle of the Crystal Ice Stickles on top.

Inside:

Stamps Used: Penny Black-Snow Dust, Hero Arts-Greatest Gift, CTMH-Peace On Earth & Snow Days.

I loved how these turned out and I hope people will grab them up at the Craft Show. I have 3 more Super Quick Christmas Cards to share, so be sure to check back.

Challenges Entered:
Cute Card Thursday - #186 Tree-mendous! CARD #3
ABC Christmas Challenge - U is for Unused Stash (new stamp used on snowflake card & new velvet ribbon used on trees card) CARD #2 & CARD #3
Creative Belli Blog - #128 Flower Soft, Felt or Chunky Glitter CARD #3
Our Daily Bread - Holiday With A Twist CARD #2
Christmas Cards All Year 'Round - Halloween Colours & Die/Punch CARD #2

For Christmas Cards All Year Round muliples requirement:

(they didn't all fit in 1 photo)

Enjoy,

Inspired Stamps Thankful

Hello and welcome here. This week Canada celebrated Thanksgiving Day and the Inspired Stamps DT is sharing Thankful projects. I made a card, and kept it simple by letting the patterned paper do most of the work.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

I stamped the verse on Colonial White CS, and framed it with Black CS using Nestabilities. I finished it off with a couple of maple leaves and a butterfly with a trail of gold Stickles.

For the inside I inked up the flower stamp with VersaMagic Mango Madness, and then inked the edges with with Memento Rhubarb Stalk.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Philippians 1:3, Flowers & More Perfect Sentiments, PP-BoBunny Forever Fall 6x6 Collection, CTMH CS-Black, Colonial White & Olive, CTMH Ink-Black, VersaMagic-Mango Madness, Memento-Rhubarb Stalk, Nestabilities-Labels 14 & Ovals, Cuttlebug Vintage Die, Marvy Uchida Maple Leaf Punch, Martha Stewart Punch-Branch & Butterflies, Stickles-Golden Rod, Rhinestones, Foam Squares.

You may recognize the style of this card...I'm loving how easy and fast it comes together, and the unique fold...I've used it a couple of times already, you can find the instructions below.

I used a couple of My Mind's Eye papers for my card. I used a Zig Zag flower on my card...I love how easy and pretty they are to make. I got a new die...the Fence...from Our Daily Bread and had to use it on my card:)

As I took this photo...with the sides open...I noticed that it seems a little stark, so I'll add a piece for writing a greeting and signing your name. I was doing this at the last minute, shame on me, lol, and didn't have time to make one & add it, and then photograph it.

Recipe: Patterned Paper-My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Two Collection & Colorful Christmas Collection, CTMH CS-Vineyard Berry, Olive, White Daisy & Black, CTMH Ink-Black, Baby Pink & Creme Brulee, CTMH SS-Happy Birthday & Tender Tags, Distress Inks Vintage Photo, Martha Stewart Punches-Pinking Scallop Border, Hydrangea, Grass Border, Butterflies & French Scroll Corner, Our Daily Bread Fence Die, Stickles-Crystal Ice, Platinum & Pink, Nestabilities-Lacy Circles, Scallop Circles & Fancy Tags, Paper Crimper, CTMH Glitter Brad.
