Pink Happy Birthday Window Card

Hello and welcome here.  I've been busy making cards again, and today I have a feminine birthday card to share with you. I usually layer 'up' my images ore sentiments, and often forget that you can make a window and pop that up while the sentiment or image remains on the card base. It came together quickly, gotta love that!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
For some added interest I embossed the frame after I cut the window in my CS.  I stamped the sentiment by Flourishes in black, and for the flourish I used 3rd generation ink (it just means I stamped on a piece of paper twice, before I stamped on the sentiment). I finished off the card with a bow in the corner, and to even things out I added pearls in the opposite corner.

Inside:
Recipe:  Flourishes SS-Happy Birthday, CHF SS- Beautiful, CTMH SS-Tender Tags & Card Chatter, PP-My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks "Home" Dotted Paper, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Distress Ink-Aged Mahogany, CTMH Ink-Black, EF-Craft Concepts Budding Vine, Spellbinders-Labels 20, Wild Orchid Crafts Rose Petal Vintage Seam Binding, Recollections Floral Embellishments, Pearls, Foam Squares.

Enjoy,
Deneen

  7. Beautiful, elegant card, everything is perfect here! I have to try the '3rd stamping' technique! Sometimes it's hard to think about the simpliest things, isn't it? Thank you for joining us at the Celebrate the Occasion challenge and hope to see you back again. Hugs

  11. Wow girl....you clobbered this card with gorgeousness! What you've done to create the center focal piece with dies is perfect. The entire arrangement is superb and I love the bottom stamping on the inside. Very pretty card.:)
