Inspired Stamps Summer Fun!

Hello and welcome here! Need some summer inspiration now that summer weather is finally here, lol!?! This week the Inspired Stamps DT are sharing Summer Fun inspiration.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I made a fun Summer Fun card using one of the new His Little Ones released this month, he's aptly called Summer Boy.  I also used Label Maker Alphabet for the pennant, Antoinette has many alphabet sets over in her store be sure to check them out.  The pennant I cut out lovingly by hand, and matted.

Hmmmm, I see as I went to write this post I didn't finish the inside, {gasp}, I know, I must be slipping.  I guess that's allowed once in a while.  I was at a Crop-at-the-Shop when I made this and remember now that I was going to finish the inside at home.  Oops.

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Summer Boy & Label Maker Alphabet, PP-BoBunny C'est La Vie Panache & Karen Foster Design Splish Splash, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Bazzill CS-blue & brown, Blue Baker's Twine, CTMH Ink-Black, Copics, Foam Squares, Rhinestones.

Heartfelt Creations CAS Card & Candle

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you're enjoying your week so far, we've been enjoying a little sun, a few clouds, and a little rain.  It's time again for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration.  I must say I LOVE their products, beautiful paper, beautiful exclusive dies, and beautiful stamps...what's NOT to love, lol.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
Candle Size: 2.68" x 3.94"
I decided to go clean and simple (CAS) this week because I love embossing intricate dies, the effect is quite elegant, and I then decided to add a matching candle.  Candle Stamping is so easy, I need to remember to make them more often, they make a perfect 'I'm thinking of you' gift.

I embossed (not cut) the Decorative Blossom Corner die in the corner, stamped the sentiment, and then added the bow, voila, done!

Inside:
I like to finish the inside of my cards as well, usually a simple image, and a sentiment, or saying.

Just another view of the embossed cardstock.

I made a tutorial on Candle Stamping which you can view HERE. It really is quite simple, stamp on tissue paper, attach to your candle with your heat tool and wax paper...that's it!

For the Decorative Blossom Corner,  I cut about 6 sheets of tissue paper at a time (it's easier to separate 2 corners from 6 than it is to only cut 2 thin pieces and try to get them out of the die without ripping....yes, I tried, lol).  I then inked the tissue paper to achieve the light blue...I could have used coloured tissue paper if I had it hand, but I didn't, so I made due with white tissue paper and ink.

The seam is where the 2 tissue pieces match...I attached one corner piece at a time though, and then finished with the sentiment.

Recipe:  HC Decorative Blossom Corner Die, HC SS-Hope In The Lord, Heartfelt Expressions & Daisy Patch Flowers, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Bazzill CS-textured light blue, CTMH Ink-Black & Lilac Mist, Sheer Creations White Satin Edge Ribbon, White Pillar Candle, White Tissue Paper.

Explosion Box Size:  4" x 4" x 4"
I found an Explosion Box online and changed measurements up to fit my design. The outer box is 4" x 4" x 4", and the inner box is 2" x 2" x 2".
I used the digital stamp Bambino by Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable available at Funky Kits, and coloured it with Copics.

I found a baby shoe pattern online and made a paper shoe from the idea.  The bigger square-ish areas were for the staff at work to write congrats.

The letters I cut out with my Slice (Playground Fonts Cartridge), it has the shadow option...perfect for matting the letters, which I embossed with my Swiss Dots embossing folder.

I embossed Spellbinders Labels 22 with the Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder.

Inspired Stamps His Little Ones: Summer Girl

Hello and welcome here!  Today the Inspired Stamps DT are sharing creations made with His Little Ones.  I created a card to go with one of the Summer Girls I coloured up for last week's new release.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I thought that HLO: Summer Girl could also be used as a cheerleader!  I also thought she looked very patriotic, so I used red, white and blue, and added a couple rhinestone swirls for sparkle.

Inside:
For the inside of my card I used Solid Alphabet Lower Case...it even comes with the stars!!

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-HLO Summer Girl & Solid Alphabet Lower Case, PP-Teresa Collins Sports Edition II, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-Black, Bazzill CS-navy, red & white, Dew Drop Ink-Lady Bug & Paris Dusk, Baker's Twine-Airmail, Rhinestone Swirls, Foam Squares, Copics.

Heartfelt Creations Sympathy Card

Hello and welcome here! Wow, with tornadoes ripping through neighborhoods and schools in Oklahoma, it sure makes complaining about our own weather situations trivial.  Our thoughts are with the families affected by the tornadoes during this time.

It's time for some more Heartfelt Creations inspiration!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I decided to make a sympathy card this time around, and I stamped the sentiment onto light coloured patterned paper from the Posy Patch Collection.  I then used Open Vintage Floret stamp set and the Vintage Floret die to frame the oval and sentiment.

I made the 3D flower by layering several flowers...stamping them first...and I used the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and Mat to shape the petals.

Inside:
Recipe:  HC PP-Posy Patch Collection, HC SS-Sympathy Sentiment & Open Vintage Floret, Bazzill CS-light green, grey & cream, CTMH Ink-Black & Desert Sand, Distress Ink-Tattered Rose, HC Dies-Vintage Floret & Decorative Chateau Gate (vine), Spellbinders-Opulent Ovals & Decorative Labels 8, Foams Squares, Pearls, Corner Rounder.

Inspired Stamps Layers on a Card

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you are enjoying fine weather where you are!  Did you enjoy the New Releases last week at Inspired Stamps? This week the DT is sharing creations with Layers.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I found THIS card made by Amy Sheffer which was based on a Sketch, and designed the card you see here.  I wanted to try the chalkboard technique, and although this isn't the best example of it, I still like how it turned out, so I kept it.  I used Inspired Stamps Labelmaker Verses for the sentiment, I used white embossing powder, and coloured selected words and boxes with Copics.

Inside:
Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Labelmaker Verses & Tags, PP-American Crafts The Color of Memories, Crate Paper Story Teller Trademark & My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up "Living" Blooms, CTMH Ink-Indian Corn Blue & Black, DW Drop Ink-White, Bazzill CS-aqua & black, VersaMark, White Embossing Powder, Black Baker's Twine, Foam Squares, October Afternoon Button, Spellbinder's Labels 28, Copics-BG15, B95, YR24.

Heartfelt Creations Decorative Chateau Gate Card

Hello and welcome here!  It's time for more Heartfelt Creations inspiration from the DT.  Last week HC released the Sun Kissed Collection and I chose to use some of it again this week.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
On the blue paper there are flowers along the top and bottom of the patterned paper, I cut my paper to include them along the bottom of my card and then I stamped and cut out more flowers to give it a 3D look...the flower die matches the paper in size perfectly.  The corner heart pieces I fussy cut from the top of the Chateau Gate die:)

Opened:
I cut out a circle to use as a mask and sponged Distress inks onto Paper Temptress Gold Sparkle CS...and there is a real pretty sparkle in the gold CS that the camera doesn't pick up.

Here's a view of the layers.

 Inside:
I like to decorate the inside of my cards as well, and the Sun Kissed Collection has some real pretty flower stamps available, the verse is from the Hope In The Lord stamp set.

Copics Used:
Petals - B52, E41 (I used E41 to tone down the blue), 0
Centers - YR12, YR14
Edges not covered by stamp - B97, W5
Leaves - YG93, YG97

Recipe:  HC PP-Sun Kissed Collection, Paper Temptress CS-Heavenly White, Epic Black & Gold Sparkle, Bazzill CS-Fourz Palo Verde, HC SS-Sun Kissed Fleur Set, CTMH Ink-Black, Distress Inks-Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick & Scattered Straw, HC Dies-Decorative Chateau Gate, Sun Kissed Fleur Die & Sun Kissed Gift Ensemble Die (vine), Copics, Foam Squares, Pearls.  Card Inside:  CTMH Ink-Indian Corn Blue & Black, HC SS-Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls & Hope In The Lord.
