Inspired Stamps January New Release

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you are staying warm where ever you are, we've been in a cold snap here in Manitoba, Canada.  Today Inspired Stamps is releasing some new stamp sets!!  So be sure to check out the rest of the DT to see all the new stamps available.  I am showcasing Scripture Holding Girl with Curls and a couple of the new 2x2 scripture stamps.

Isn't she a sweetie!?  And I just love her curly hair.  I used the new 2x2 2 Samuel 22:31 scripture.  I also love how it looks like she is holding the scripture.

For the inside I used some older stamp sets - Spring Sketches and 1.5" Circles:  Greetings.

 I couldn't stop at one card because I could also picture her peeking out of  a frame.  I  traced her dress shape onto patterned paper and lengthened it, I then fussy cut her head and hands and attached the head to the patterned paper dress and attached it to the oval.  I then trimmed her dress and added the hands to the edge, I finished it off by outlining it with a fine tip black felt pen.  I used the new 2x2 1 Cor. 13:13 scripture stamp with this card.

I used an older stamp set for the inside - More Perfect Sentiments.

Inspired Stamps November New Release

Hello and welcome here!  Today over at Inspired Stamps Antoinette is releasing some New stamp sets!  I am using 4 NEW individual stamps on my card today.

I used the Bendy-Fold Card which is perfect for a Shepherd keeping watch in the fields at night. You can find the instructions for this type of card HERE.  On the front I used the Shepherd Boy and Laying Sheep, and coloured them with Copic Markers.

 This is a top view of the 'bendy' part.

The card opens so that you can enjoy the inside as well, I used the Sheep stamp set on the inside flap, on the right.

Here you can see both flaps open to reveal more sheep and the scripture verse Luke 2:11.

I added the star that led them to the stable over the verse, and filled the night sky with other star using Stickles.

The flaps lay flat for mailing, the card then fits in a regular envelope.

Heartfelt Creations New Release Sweet Juliet Collection

Hello and welcome here! It's the second Wednesday of the month and that means a New Release at Heartfelt Creations.  This New Release is called Sweet Juliet and is full of inspiration. It has card fronts (perfect for making quick cards), sentiments, 6x6 designs of the 12x12 sheets, and everything is double sided.  There are new dies too, they are unique and a lot of fun to work with.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I loved the flowers from the Recovery Wishes stamp set and pictured them with soft pastels.  I used the subtle patterned paper from the new Antiquity paper collection and stamped my image with black ink.  I then added colour using chalk, it softens up the look.

I added a simple border towards the bottom, I used the short edge of Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8.  I stamped a circular sentiment from the Moments With You stamp set.

For this card I started with one of the Card Fronts that come with the Antiquity paper collection and added a few layers.  The Antiquity paper comes with journaling pieces that you cut out and add to your scrapbook page, you can also use them for stamping a sentiment on etc., I chose to cut it down and added a hole to make it into a tag.  I matted one of the sentiments included with the paper collection and popped it onto the card.  I used the new Sweet Juliet die to make the flower which I added to the bottom corner do the card.

Heartfelt Creations New Release Season of Joy

Hello and welcome here!  Did you remember that Cuttlebug Mania was changing to every 2 weeks?  That's why there was no post yesterday, just in case you popped by and wondered what was going on.

Today is the September New Release for Heartfelt Creations!! I'm so excited to share the dies, paper, and stamps with you.  The cards came together so quickly that I made 2 different sets, perfect for when you want to get your Christmas cards done in a timely manner!

Card Sizes:  4.25" x 5.5"

I couldn't decided which colours to work with...the blue, or the red/green, but because they were super quick to make I could make both sets to show you.  And I also had a hard time deciding where to place the sentiment, so I changed it up for all 4 cards.

For the set of blue cards I used patterned paper found in the Frosty Blanket Paper Collection. I also used one of the trees dies (or flip it upside down and you have a beautiful lace piece for a triangle banner.) from the new Banner and Trees Die set.  The circular sentiment is one from the Christmas Sentiment Circles PreCut set.  I heat embossed it using silver embossing powder and then die cut it using Spellbinders Lacey Circles.

I used another sentiment from the Christmas Sentiment Circles for the inside.

For the red/green set I used all the same elements that I used on the blue cards I just changed up the colours, the red and green patterned papers can be found in the same paper pack.  I used gold embossing powder for the sentiment instead of silver.

Heartfelt Creations New Release Christmas Card Collection

Hello and welcome here!  Today Heartfelt Creations has a New Release called Christmas Card Collection.  So be sure to pop by the HC BLOG or check out the DT creations (their links are in my sidebar.) to see the full release.  I'm sharing 2 projects...a card and 2 ornaments.

Card Size:  6" x 6"

I used one of the 6" x 6" patterned paper included in the Christmas Card Paper Collection. There are alot of card fronts available with this paper collection that will make it quick and easy to create your Christmas cards! All I did was add an embossed shape to the patterned paper and that's it.

I also used the bird from the Christmas Song stamp set, and the holly and berries flourish from the Holly Berry stamp set.  The Holly Berry stamp set has a matching die in the Ornamental Add On set. I coloured the bird, and holly and berries with Copics.

I used one of the dies included in the Ornamental Add On die set to make the ornaments.  I used 3 for each ornament, but you could use more if you wanted.  I wanted to add pearls and Stickles and so I used less so that you could see it.  I think that they almost look like elegant icicles!

Ornament Size (without ribbon):  2" x 3"

It's difficult to see, but I added pearls to the die, and I used gold wired-edges ribbon.

For the red ornament I used Stickles, but it's difficult to see in the photo.

Inspired Stamps 2x2 New Release

I used the new set John 10:17-18.  I used green for a nice soft effect and framed it with Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles.  I finished it off with a couple of butterflies for a pop of colour.

I saw THIS CARD and decided to try one too, I loved the Washi banner idea.  I used Isaiah 43:1 and die cut it out with Spellbinders...it's difficult to see but I embossed the same Spellbinder die onto the CS under the verse.  I used white CS spritzed with Lemon Zest Dylusions.

Heartfelt Creations Burst of Splendor New Release

Hello and welcome here!  It's the July New Release over on Heartfelt Creations and it's called Burst of Splendor.  Oh my!! It's is a gorgeous release of stamps, dies and paper to see the full release you can click on the Products link at the top of the HC home page, and then choose New Release from the left-side menu.  I have 2 cards to share with you today using Burst of Splendor!

Card Size:  5" x 5"

I used the gorgeous Blooming Dahlia stamp set, and paper from the Burst of Splendor Collection.  I used Spellbinders Adorning Squares to mat my flower.  I stamped the dahlia 3 times and fussy cut around the middle petals, and around some of the outer petals so that I could layer them for a 3D effect...you can see a better photo of this effect further down.

For the greenery I stamped a couple of different leaf bunches using the Open Leaf & Classic Leaf stamp sets, I then cut them out quickly and easily using the Classic Leaf Die.

Here'a a view of the 3 layers.  After I assembled the layers with foam squares I turned up the tips of the petals a bit.

For my second card I used the pattern on the paper to make my card and then added a stamped and coloured Dahlia (which I fussy cut) for a bit of 'pop'.  I finished it off by adding some Liquid Pearls for texture.  I thought about adding a ribbon but in the end decided it would take away from the beautiful image of the gate and flowers.  I stamped the sentiment using HC Heartfelt Expressions stamp set.
