Cards and Digital Images

Yup, you read right....digital images. I did something I thought I would never do...buy some digital images. But after seeing some Home Grown images by Sugar Nellie, I couldn't help myself. Here are 2 of the first images I purchased, called Faith. One image is of her standing, and the other is a close-up of her face.
.
Card Sizes: 4.25" x 5.5"

Inside:
What a cutie-patootie. I had seen these images while blog surfing, but it didn't occur to me that I would be able to print them on my printer. Whenever I print something, if a drop of water lands on the paper the ink immediately runs. Many days later without thinking, I printed my Copic Colour Chart off the computer and was filling in the squares. All of a sudden I realized that I was colouring something from my printer and the lines were not smearing, like with water. So I took the plunge and bought an image to try...and it worked!!!

A Trio of Tildas

Hello, and welcome here! I made 3 cards using Magnolia's Tilda with Puppy stamp set. The layout of the card remained the same, but as you will see, I wanted to try out different hair colours.
.

I love the soft green colour of the patterned paper with the darker green of Tilda's pants. For this Tilda, I tried a blonde/red hair colour. (There's a close-up below) I thought the sentiment was perfect for her...it's from CTMH's Friendship SS.

Life's A Jungle

Hello there, and welcome here!! It's been a while since I made any kid cards, and for the swap I'm in, I decided to make one. The host sent everyone the same 'scraps' (The large pattern piece of paper, the red grosgrain ribbon, and a red brad). We could use those scraps in any way to make a card. The paper made me think of a kids card.
.
I kept it fairly simple, and went with the circle theme. I thought it would be fun to attach the monkey upside down. It's difficult to tell, but I actually cut him out, and attached him with foam squares onto the circle, which in turn is attached to the card with foam squares.
