Cornish Heritage Farm Twine Challenge

This is my second post for today, so if you're looking for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge, please scroll down.

For the Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge Holly has choosen:
Twine
Hemp twine, bakers twine, or even linen thread can be used.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"
I decided to go with a Christmas card, I imagined twine around brown paper packages...a sort of vintage-y feel to them.  I also added twine candy canes, I used my Flower Soft wires and Sookwang double-sided adhesive! I added a clear rhinestone where the candycanes cross, it's hard to see it in the photo.

Last year's BoBunny paper had glitter on it, and I added glitter to the pine trees too, I was trying to get a shot of the glittery-ness.

I used Cornish Heritage Farms digital stamp called Winter Hills. I coloured the image with Copics and added Liquid Applique on the ground to resemble snow.

Copics Used:
Trees - G43
Fence - E33, E35
Sky - BG0000

Recipe:  CHF Digital Winter Hills, PP-BoBunny Snowfall, CTMH CS-Twilight, Chocolate, White Daisy & Colonial White, Kraft CS, Vintage Photo Distress Inks, Spellbinders-Floral Ovals & Classic Ovals, Martha Stewart Cherish Border Punch, Copics, Twine, Liquid Applique, Flower Soft Wires, Silver Ice Stickles, Rhinestones.

Top Tip Tuesday Treat Box

Hello and welcome here! It's Tuesday again, and that means it's time for a Top Tip Tuesday Challenge.  This time the Challenge is to make a project that is Good With Food, so any type of container,  box or basket, or if you've made homemade jam you can make it pretty with your scrapbooking supplies.  Elaine is sharing a Tutorial on Chocolate Bar Wrappers.

Challenge - Good With Food
Tutorial - Chocolate Bar Wrapper by Elaine

Size: 3" Square,  approx. 5" tall
First off, I cannot take credit for this cute little box.  I found the Box with 2 Drawers post on Mariannes papirverden, the only down side was that I couldn't find instructions for it, so I figured out the measurements and will post them for you below.

I figured it was the cutest little box to send treats in! (It will also hold 4 tealight candles like Mariannes box does.)

Here's a view with the drawers closed, I didn't have any fancy drawer pulls, so I improvised by using grosgrain ribbon (hole punch 2 holes, knot ribbon on the inside of the drawer.

I made a little pocket for a tag, so that you had somewhere to put your greetings.

Since Christmas is coming up, I decided to make a Christmas-y box, I used Spellbinder's Layered Poinsettia's on the sides, and some Crystal Ice Stickles.

Recipe:  PP-My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Saffron "Free Spirit" Daisy, Indie Chic Saffron "Create" Lattice & American Craft Mulberry Glitter Paper, Cream CS, Spellbinders-Layered Poinsettia & Labels 20, Martha Stewart Cherish Border Punch, Cream Pearls (coloured with Copic Y17), Pink Organza Ribbon, Cream Grosgrain Ribbon, Hole Punch, Crystal Ice Stickles.

Cornish Heritage Farms Shaped Card

This is my second post for today, so if you're looking for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge, please scroll down:)

Hello and welcome here.  I hope you're enjoying nice weather where you are, the leaves are already turning and the weather is getting cooler here, but it's been very nice.

For the Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge Kris has chosen:
Shaped Card

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
Boy, I tell ya, I have the hardest time photographing and editing white cards....hmmm, next time I'll try a different background.  Anyways, I found this template quite a while ago at Stampington & Co. and it's called Darling Dress, it's only in PDF format now....I have other dresses HERE if you would like more inspiration.

I used the Cornish Heritage Farms rubber stamp set called Beautiful, and it can be found in the store right now, just click on the link. I used one of the flourishes along the bottom edge of the skirt or pinafore, and along the shoulders to balance things out.  I added some pearls and a nice big satin bow to complete the dress.  The funny dots along the stamped edge on the bottom are Viva Decor Glitter dots...but it's difficult to photograph it:)

Inside:
For the inside of the card I used the same stamp set, Beautiful, and used the word 'Beautiful' that comes it, and a different flourish.  I love flourishes and this is one of my favourite sets to use.

Recipe:  CHF Rubber SS-Beautiful LL6004, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-Black, Distress Ink-Fadded Jeans, 7/8" Celebrate It White Satin Ribbon, Pearls, Viva Decor HoloIridescent Glitter Liner.

Top Tip Tuesday is Recycling

Hello and welcome here!  Many of us have sent our little ones (and bigger ones) back to school this past week, and that means more crafting time for some of us:)  This week the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge is Recycling....and it doesn't just have to be papercrafts, Carol is sharing a Tutorial on making a cushion from a sweater!

Challenge - Recycle It
Tutorial - Making a Cushion from a Sweater by Carol
DT Tips

I like to recycle containers and I'm always keeping my eyes open for any possibilities.  For my project, I recycle a container that held large binder clips in it. A big thank-you to Bugaboo Stamps for letting me use the digital image Ava - School Sign It 2.  Perfect for any teacher gift!!

TIP - It's quick and easy to use your scraps and embellishments to cover containers. You can hide any imperfections behind your image...I hid the seam of the container, and where I joined the paper/ribbon/border punch behind the image.
