Inspired Stamps Summer Card

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you enjoyed the Operation Write Home Bloghop last weekend, I enjoyed being part of it and thank-you to all those who left such kind comments!  This week the Inspired Stamps DT are sharing Summer cards.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I kept it fairly simple, and if you can believe it I didn't use a single foam square, rhinestone or pearl. (For those that are new here, I love my layers and embellishments.)  I stamped His Little Ones:  Sundress Girl and the verse from Labelmaker Verses all onto the same piece of cardstock.  I then coloured in the image and added grass and clouds using Copic Markers.

The sundress is paper pieced using patterned paper from Bazzill Basics 6x6 Vintage Marketplace.

Inside:

The words are from the Labelmaker Verses stamp set.

I totally lifted the card pattern from Rita's Creations...she made a Valentine's Day card.  I absolutely loved the colour combo Rita used for her card, so I copied that as well:)  I love being inspired by other people's creations, don't you?

For the bow-tie I used the bow from Maggie Holmes Styleboard Dies, I just didn't use the loop part of the bow, it's like getting 2 bow styles in 1.

Top Tip Tuesday Monochromatic Challenge & Origami Shirt Tutorial

How fun is that!?!  An origami shirt easel card.  I had a lot of fun with making it.  Once you do 1 it's easy to catch on and comes together quickly.  It also was a lot of fun trying to decide how to embellish the shirt.

Operation Write Home Memorial Day Bloghop with Inspired Stamps

Hello and welcome here!  This year the Inspired Stamps Design Team are supporting the troops and their families and made cards for the Operation Write Home (OWH) Bloghop.  If you want to find the list of participating blogs, just click on the link or photo below.

 

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I used OWH Sketch #217 for my card.  I used red and blue patterned paper from Bazzill 6x6 Worldwide paper pack.  I used Hymn Girls:  February stamp set...which includes the super cute heart as well...and coloured her with Copics.  The 'Miss You' sentiment is from the 1" Circle Sentiments.

I added stitch lines around the banner to reflect the stitch lines that are part of the heart stamp.

Inside:

I like to finish the inside of my cards and instead of centering a sentiment I chose to keep it small and to the side so that there's lots of room for the loved one to write!

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you've been enjoying your week.  We've had a bit of snow, but it didn't stay on the ground thank goodness.  I must say I am grateful to not live in a tornado, hurricane, or earthquake zone, so a little snow I can handle without complaining.

This week Inspired Stamps is releasing some new stamps, so be sure to check out all the DT creations!  I am using the newly released Hymn Girls: Armor of God, and Ephesians 6:11.

 I used Hymn Girls:  Armor of God and Ephesians 6:11.  I didn't use any patterned paper so that the image would stand out, I coloured her with Copics.  I added a touch of gel pen to the words 'Armor of God' and 'stand firm against."

I decided to make another card using patterned paper and I used chalk to add just a touch of colour to her clothes...her skin is coloured with Copics.

Cuttlebug Mania Baby Card

The white didn't photograph as nicely this time, or maybe it's just my eyes, lol.  I kept it fairly simple and used a doily behind the baby carriage, and finished it with a border punch and bow.

Inspired Stamps Graduation Card

Hello and welcome here!  Happy May 1st!!  It's also Thursday and that means it's time for some Inspired Stamps inspiration.  This week the DT are sharing Graduation or Congratulations cards, so be sure to check them out, their links are in my sidebar.  I chose to make a Graduation card.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I used Hymn Girls:  December and added the year using Label Maker Alphabet.  The pretty floral paper is found in the Bazzill Basics 6x6 Vintage Lace.  I stamped the Hymn Girl onto cream cardstock and added a touch of colour with Copics, and then fussy cut it out.  I added the year to the book she's holding.  I finished it with the congratulations sentiment from More Perfect Sentiments.
