Another Burnished Velvet Card

As promised, here's another Christmas card using the Burnished Velvet Technique (see Post 1 & Post 2).
Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"
Here's where I tried to capture the shimmeryness of the Burnished Velvet Technique.
You may be interested in the piano music. I went to the thrift store and bought an old piano music book...one with yellowed pages...brought it home and ripped, yes, you read right, I actually ripped the pages into pieces. It was difficult to do, not the technique of ripping, but the ripping pages apart, lol...after all, I play the piano.
After I got over the shock, I sponge daubed the edges of the torn pieces, and place the pieces randomly on the card front. I then trimmed all the edges, and finally sponged daubed around the card edges.
I then cut a piece of Sookwang double-sided tape smaller than the card so that it would look like a panel, attached it directly to the card front, I added my glitter, and then finished it off using a black Sharpie marker to outline my panel.
I really loved how it turned out!
Recipe: CTMH CS-White Daisy, Ponderosa Pine & Tulip, CTMH Ink-Ponderosa Pine, Tulip & Chocolate, CTMH SS- Just For The Holidays, Cuttlebug DC-Vintage, Nestabilities DC-Scalloped Circle, Satin Ribbon, Sookwang Double-Sided Tape, Crystal Glitter Ritz Cool Highlights, Black Sharpie Marker, Pipe Cleaner, Piano Music.
Enjoy,
Deneen
P.S. ONLY 1 WEEK UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!
