Magnolia Spring Extravaganza Card Entry.

Spring is right around the corner here in my part of the world. We're lucky not to live too close to the Red River, so we are not affected by the flooding. Everything is still brown and yucky though, but warmer weather is on the way.
.
To celebrate Spring, I made this card using a couple of Magnolia stamps, Tilda Carrying Lamb and Tulip Wheelbarrow. I am entering it into the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog challenge called Easter/Spring Extravaganza in category #1 Easter/Spring themed card. . . I also am entering this into the Copic Creations Challenge Blog. My favourite technique is using 'flicking' to colour hair. I'm not sure how else to describe the method to colour hair so that it looks like separate strands, but you 'flick' your copic to achieve this look:)

Card Size: 4.75" x 6"

I coloured the wheelbarrow and Tilda with Copics, and added White Fun Flock to the lamb.

I used EK Success Daisy Chain Border Punch to add the flowers on the frame, it's my favourite punch right now. I attached them by cutting my foam squares in half, and finished off the look with white pearls in the center. I had a hard time not adding any ribbon but there was no room for it:) You can see the different layers in the photo below:

Recipe: CTMH PP-Miracle, CTMH CS-White Daisy & Sky, CTMH Ink-Black & Dutch Blue, CTMH SS-Happy Birthday & Four Seasons, Memento Black Ink, EK Success Daisy Chain Punch, Nestabilities Labels 17, Cuttlebug Vintage Die, Martha Stewart Monarch Butterfly Punch, White Fun Flock, Copics, Foam Squares, Pearls, Rhinestones.
