I've been doing lots of watercolouring lately! It's my new fave thing to do. The piece behind my image is embossed using a Spellbinder die. I explain how to do that HERE. Here's a close-up of the embossing.
Inside:
I used Strathmore Watercolor Paper 140lb cold press for my watercoloring. I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to watercolour with. For the flower I used Faded Jeans and Walnut Stain, the stem is Forest Moss. The background is Scattered Straw and Spiced Marmalade. The image is stamped with Memento Black Ink. Once everything was dry I stamped the sentiment.

Cuttlebug Mania Flowers Challenge
Hello and welcome here! It's the first challenge of May at Cuttlebug Mania and we all know April showers bring May flowers, so it only makes sense to have a flower challenge! Don't forget to use your Cuttlebug!
Here's a LINK to my Pinterest board Tips and Techniques for Card Making, I've posted some of the videos from Sandy I found most helpful here in one spot.
I kept the rest of the card fairly clean and simple so that the flower was the main focal point.

I've been seeing and enjoying all the watercolour images out there and wanted to give it a try too. And the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set I used 2 challenges ago with Copics was the perfect image to use too. So I watched a few videos out in blog land...one of my favourite bloggers is now Sandy Allnock, she uses watercolours, Copics, etc. and has great informative and easy to understand videos!!...and then gave it a try myself. Not bad for my first attempts if I don't say so myself, lol, thank-you Sandy for giving me the confidence to try it myself. Here's a LINK to my Pinterest board Tips and Techniques for Card Making, I've posted some of the videos from Sandy I found most helpful here in one spot.
