Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"
I've been seeing and enjoying all the watercolour images out there and wanted to give it a try too. And the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set I used 2 challenges ago with Copics was the perfect image to use too. So I watched a few videos out in blog land...one of my favourite bloggers is now Sandy Allnock, she uses watercolours, Copics, etc. and has great informative and easy to understand videos!!...and then gave it a try myself. Not bad for my first attempts if I don't say so myself, lol, thank-you Sandy for giving me the confidence to try it myself. Here's a LINK to my Pinterest board Tips and Techniques for Card Making, I've posted some of the videos from Sandy I found most helpful here in one spot.
I kept the rest of the card fairly clean and simple so that the flower was the main focal point.
Inside:
I stamped the flower onto watercolour paper using Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I then used Faded Jeans to colour in the petals. For the leaves I stamped them with Shabby Shutters and coloured them in using Peeled Paint.
