I have a treat for you today!  It's a Magnetic Die Holder.  How many times do you set a die down on your desk and then can't find it until you dig around like an archeologist?  Ya, me too!

I was visiting Stamplicity and met a lovely fellow crafter who gave me the idea (we discussed using a whiteboard but then I realized after we talked that it's not magnetic, just metal), I added to the idea  by thinking, "Why can't it be pretty AND functional!?!"

So now I have this gorgeousness sitting on my desk just waiting for me to place my dies here instead of ON my desk where it gets buried.  And it doesn't take up too much room!!

Here is what I started with.  I bought a plastic stand up frame (it has a base to it) and a package of magnetic photo sleeves at the dollar store.

Tada! Here's the final result using a bit of paper and flowers!  As I'm working on a project I can place my dies here, then when I'm finished I can put them away and not worry that they're lost on my desk.

I used the Wildwood Paper Collection to stamp the Classic Rose leaves and flowers on.  I then used my Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit to shape them.

I die cut the border using a die from the Border Essential set.  I then added the burgundy mat on top of the plastic frame.  I then adhered the magnet sheet and covered it with a thin piece of pattern paper from the Wildwood Paper Collection.

Of course there's 2 sides, so I kept the back simple so that I had lots of room to place my dies if needed.

Recipe:  HCDP1-274 Wildwood Cottage Paper Collection, HCPC-3752 Classic Rose Cling Stamp, HCD1-7110 Classic Rose Die, HCD1-783 Border Essential Dies, HCD1-747 Arianna Lace Die, HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, Papericious Crystal Clear Glitter, Bazzill CS-burgundy & green, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-New England Ivy & Outdoor Denim, Rhinestones, Plastic 5x7 Frame, Magnet Sheets.

You've reached the end of the Blog Hop, I hope you enjoyed all the wonderful craftiness you saw today!
