Have you ever started a card and think, 'meh' it's okay but it's nothing to write home about, but when you finally finish adding the details you're like 'Wowzers'??  This card was like that.  I thought it was just okay but when I finished adding the sequins and held it at arms length I thought 'Not too shabby if I say so myself,' lol.

Inspired Stamps Easter Card 2

Hello and welcome here!  This week it was Inspired Stamps Design Team choice and I chose to make another Easter card since Easter is this Sunday.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I used the Hymn Girls March stamp set which is Easter themed.  I threw on a bit of watercolour behind the image and finished off the card with bright, happy, green colours.

I added a simple sentiment from Perfect Sentiments inside.

Inspired Stamps Spring Card

Hello and welcome here!  Spring is right around the corner and the Inspired Stamps DT are inspiring you with Spring cards today.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

The flower and sentiment are from the Flowers Value Pack stamp set.  I used the same greenery die I used last time...it's new, can you tell, lol...and cut put it against an embossed background.  For the flower I used Distress Inks and my mat, I added ink to my mat and then spritzed with water and then dipped my paper into it.  I dried it and then stamped the flower and cut it out.  I added a little more colour to the center of the flower to finish it off.

Inside:

For the inside I used Perfect Sentiments and then stamped the same flower inside that I had used on the outside.

Flowers are a lovely sign of Spring, so I chose to use a flower and light Spring-y paper.  I embossed my green cardstock using my die to give it a soft feel.

Inspired Stamps Art Journal Inspiration

Hello and welcome here!  It's time for another Inspired Stamps inspiration post and this week we are using any art journal stamps. 

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I used Hymn Mushrooms and Leaves.  It's a great set!  I used Dylusions spray on my paper and dried it, I then stamped the leaves and flower using archival ink.  Next I used a waterbrush to lift off some of the colour from the flower and leaves, I then used a mix of Inktense pencil crayons and LePlume II watercolour markers to add some colour to the flower and leaves.  I finished it off with white dots around both.

I used Romans 8:28 on the front as well.

I used Perfect Sentiments for the inside as well as the flower from Hymn Mushrooms & Leaves.

Teddy Bo New Release

Hello and welcome here!  Teddy Bo & Co. is releasing some new digital stamps today.  AND she is offering coloured images as well, so if you LOVE the bears but are not confident in your colouring you can now buy and print the image already coloured!!

Inspired Stamps Love Inspiration

Hello, and welcome here!  It's February, and almost Valentine's Day can you believe it?  To help inspired you the Inspired Stamps DT are sharing projects with a Love theme.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

I used the 2x2 scripture stamp 1 Corinthians 13:13.  I matted it with white using the same die shape and then added the embellishment to the side.

Inside:

For the inside I used the sentiment from Perfect Sentiments.  I first attached a heart cut from patterned paper then stamped 'Congratulations'.
