Journals from the Craft Show

Good morning! I have some journals to share with you today. I made 2 of each style to sell at the Craft Sale. You can see my first Craft Sale post HERE, where I shared my Stationary/Gift Boxes.

.
Each journal is 200 pages, and measures approx. 6" x 9". I unwound the wire from the journal and covered the cover with B&T paper. I cut the front B&T piece bigger so that I could wrap it around the cover. And then I attach a piece of B&T piece to the inside to cover the edges. (See photo below).
I then use one of the sheets of paper to figure out where to punch the holes for the wire (Shhh, don't tell anyone that one of the journals only has 199 pages). I decorate as desired and then wind the wire back on, using pliers to bend the end of the wire inwards.
.
I kept them fairly simple (no ribbon, foam squares etc.), and sold them for $5. They sold really well. I have only a few of the masculine ones left.

I added Stickles to the stitching.
I used all CTMH B&T paper (Patterned Paper), it was thinner and easier to wrap around the edges of the cover. Some is older retired paper.
Hope you were inspired, enjoy,
Deneen
