Card Size:  6" x 6"
I've made a Stair Step Card this time.  My Secret Santa Monica P. from over at Scrapbookers of Country Craft Creations facebook group, gifted me with some Heartfelt Creations Wildwood Cottage items!!!!!!  So I have used some on today's card!

Here's a side view of the Stair Step Card, I love how you can add different layers for interest.

I used a panel from the Wildwood Cottage Paper Collection and die cut a scalloped edge using the Border Essential die.  I then stamped and die cut the fence and flowers from the Wildwood Cottage Accents set.  The sentiment and bird are part of the paper collection and I fussy cut them and matted them with cardstock.

I stamped and die cut the flowers, grass and gate from the Wildwood Cottage Accents set and used Prismacolor pencils for some added dimension.

I added some Glossy Accents to the water but at this angle you can't see the sheen.

The wheelbarrow is also part of the Accents set and I stamped it on Kraft cardstock and coloured it with Prismacolor pencils.

Recipe:  HCPC-3772 Wildwood Cottage Accents Stamp, HCD1-7128 Wildwood Cottage Accents Die, HCD1-783 Border Essentials Die, HCDP1-274 Wildwood Cottage Paper Collection, CMTH CS-White Daisy, Bazzill CS-pink, light green, burgundy & Kraft, Prismacolor Pencils, Nuvo Fresh Snowfall Glitter, Twine, Foam.

You've reached the end of the Blog Hop for December!  I hope you enjoyed and are inspired by all the fun Heartfelt Creations projects!!!  See you next month!

Teddy Bo & Co. Blowing Bubbles Card

Hello and welcome here!  It's my turn to share some Teddy Bo & Co. inspiration with you.  The image of Bea is from the August Membership pack.

 Card Size:  5" x 7"
I coloured Bea blowing bubbles with Prismacolor Pencils.  I finished the card off with Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Oval die and the corners are from Cuttlebug.

I used Nuvo Crystal Clear drops to fill in the bubbles to make them shine like real bubbles would.

Prismacolor Pencils Used:
Fur - 1034, 943, 945, 1082, 947
Muzzle - 917, 1034, 1033
Overalls - 938, 956, 1008, 932, 132
Shirt - 1059, 1060, 1061
Hat - 938, 1014, 1018, 1017
Bubbles - 916, 912, 1040, 133, 993
Bottle - 912, 909
Ground - 1052
Sky - 1087

I took a few picture of the how I build up my layers.
The first layer I lightly colour in the highlights, the medium color and where the darkest colour will go.
The second layer I lightly colour again, building on what I laid down the first time.  It's still easy to make adjustments to colour if necessary.

The third layer I again is about laying the colour down and blending the different browns together.  I didn't like how the highlight on the toe was turning out so I adjusted it by adding a bit of darker brown into it.  You can see the difference in the photo below.

The fourth layer is continuing adding colour, blending as you change colours.  I continued to add colour until I reach the darkest colour of each pencil crayon.

Recipe:  Teddy Bo & Co. Digital Image-August Membership Pack, PP-Creative Memories Fresh Picks, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Bazzill CS-purple, Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Oval, Cuttlebug Vintage Corners, SS-Papertry Ink Birthday Basics, Versafine Onyx Black, Nuvo Crystal Drops-Clear, Foam, Rhinestones, Prismacolor Pencils.

Enjoy!

Teddy Bo & Co. Inspiration

Hello and welcome here!  It's time to share another Teddy Bo & Co. image from the July Membership pack.  This time I coloured up Bea dressed as a fairy.

Card Size:  5" x 6"
I think I finally have the hang of my Prismacolor pencils. Thanks to Alyce over at Kit and Clowder for her suggestions.  I have been watching their Facebook page and have been inspired by all the amazing colouring going on.

Prismacolor's Used:
Fur - 1034, 943, 945, 1082, 947
Ears/Muzzle - 917, 1034, 1033

Wings - 1004, 913, 909, 1014, 929, 930, 956, 1009
Background - 914

The photo doesn't pick it up well but I added some clear Stickles to her wings and silver stickles to the wand.

And because I remembered while I was colouring, lol, here are some work-in-progress photos.

Teddy Bo & Co. Throwback to the 50s

Hello and welcome here!   Just popping in to share my latest Teddy Bo & Co. card, it's Bea from the 50s, it's part of the June membership pack.  You can check out the action over on the Teddy Bo Facebook page!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I coloured Bea and the jukebox using Prismacolor pencils.  I decided to keep the background to the card simple so that it didn't outshine the image.  I even paper pieced the border on the wall.  Instead of making a larger card to put my image on I chose to keep the card base small so that it had a more 3D effect...and I think it really showcases the image.

Recipe:  Prismacolor Pencils (I had started a list of the colours I used but then when I got to the jukebox I forgot to keep track, oops.)  Bazzill CS-white, black & turquoise, Teddy Bo Digital Image June Membership, Foam Squares, Glitter CS.

Enjoy,

I used April Bo 02 from the April membership pack and went with a clean and simple card.  I coloured him with Prismacolor pencils.  I apologize for not taking a photo of him BEFORE I added Distress Ink to the edges, it kind of camouflaged my colouring.  But I loved the effect it gives, of night closing in around him.

Inspired Stamps Christmas Card Showcase

Hello and welcome here on the first of September!  I've been having issues with the photos on my older posts showing up and I'm trying to figure out the problem, no luck yet why it's doing this so if you have any helpful info please let me know.

This month the Inspired Stamps DT are showcasing Christmas stamps!  For us cardmakers, getting an early start is essential because before you know it, Christmas will be here and time for family and friends takes over.

Card Size:  4" x 6"
I used a few different stamps set for my card.  The girl is Hymn Girls: March.  I tried my hand at colouring on Kraft cardstock using Primacolor pencils.  Next time I'll add a white undertone to the dress...it's much redder in real life but I think it would pop more coloured on top of white. I love how you can make her winter-ish by giving her boots to wear!

The holly is from Flower Value Set, it's also coloured using Primacolor pencils.  The sentiment is from the 1" Circle Sentiments.

Inside:
For the inside sentiment and cross I used Blessed Little Chrismtas.

Prismacolor's Used:
Face - 924, 927, 939
Dress - 924
Boots - 935
Cross - 937, 944, 946
Snow - 938
Sky - 904, 938
Berries - 924
Leaves - 911, 912

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS- Hymn Girls: March, 1" Circle Sentiments, Flower Value Set & Blessed Little Christmas, Kraft CS, CTMH White Daisy CS, CTMH Ink- Black & Indian Corn Blue, Foam Squares, Spellbinders-Radiant Rectangles, BoBunny PP-Dark Denim Vintage Double Dot, Red Pearls.
