For my Butterfly card, I used a new punch (new to me, for my Birthday, lol), and a new-to-me Butterfly Stamp. I saw a card somewhere in blogland with the same punch idea, but I didn't save it or take note of where I saw it, so if it's you....thanks for sharing your idea:)
.
To punch across the card, and still have it line up nicely, (and not curse at your card and punching skills) open the card up and punch the middle first....so that the score line is in the middle of the punch. Then punch out to the edges, you have less space to make an error then, because a little mispunch along the way ends up magnified by the time you get to the end....if you know what I mean, lol, otherwise just ignore my ramblings:)
.
I Black Embossed the Butterfly and sponged the colour on the Butterfly's wings. I cut a reverse mask out so that the ink would not go outside the Butterfly wings. I finished it off with a little Glitter along the outside edge of the wings.

Blessings Card.
I have been seeing some beautiful dies and embossing folders that are from the UK. I finally weakened enough to purchase some from the UK! I am so excited I did, and it was delivered just as fast, if not faster, than some of the packages I've received from the US....it came in only 9 days!!!!!
.
It's a very straight forward, but elegant card.

Thinking of You.
The card is also straight forward. But the way I make it wouldn't know it, lol! It wasn't until after everything was attached (and I attach things securely, I don't like my cards falling apart), I decide to add ribbon, and not grosgrain (which can be easy to attach after the fact), but noooooooo, I had to decide on organdy. Which meant I had to lift up edges very carefully so that I didn't rip anything, and then attach the edge of the ribbon with my Sookwang tape...and Sookwang is very, very, did I mention very, sticky double sided tape. Yikes. And as those that follow me know, I make 4-6 of the same card....this one I had to make 6 because before I added the ribbon, they were speedy to make:)

And last, but definitely not the least:) my guy!!! And what could he be sitting in!?! Wait a minute, I think it's..........why yes, IT IS!! It's my light box!! Or what's left of my light box, lol. But it makes a perfect car mom! And to think, even after my little mischief-maker got a hold of it, I was still able to use it for taking the pictures of my cards today:)
Enjoy,
Deneen
