I have to tell you this card gave me the run around, lol. I had hit a creative block and couldn't seem to create something new, so I went with some 'old' ideas for my New Years card:) It's not the fanciest of cards I've made, but sweet and simple.
Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"
My fall back design for cards is to choose 2 different patterened papers, and separate them with a border, or ribbon. Then I couldn't seem to figure out what to do for an image/sentiment. I really liked the idea I used last week inside my card with the tree, so I copied that idea for the front...and used some Spring-like colours. This time I used a piece of thread to loop around the tree branch to hold the sign. I sponged the clouds, and used foam squares to add the tree and sentiment.

Love the sign hanging on the branch! I've had the same creative slump myself-must be all the sugary treats from Christmas!
I love how it turned out, sometimes we just need to go back to an older idea and give it a new twist.
So cute. I may have to "scraplift" this one!
Very cute card; thanks for sharing. Jo4Him
