Hello and welcome here! I've been working on Christmas cards this month and thought I'd share over the next week or so some of the ones I've been making. In the past I've made some dollar card ones, these ones I'm sharing are a little more intricate and so I'll be selling at my regular price.
The glitter paper I found at Winner's last year, it was being sold as wrapping paper, and because it was such a great price I am able to use it on most my cards. All cards are 4.25" x 5.5".
I made some traditional Christmas cards as well. The red background is a very fine glitter, it almost looks like suede.
I used red foil paper to cut the sentiment out, I layered the sentiment using plain red paper, I cut out 3 plain and 1 foil. The wreath is made using the very old Martha Steward pine branch punch. I had glitter ribbon in my stash for the bow.
Glitter is fun to use at Christmas. The panel is embossed with Lisa Horton's 3D poinsettia embossing folder and the edges were die cut from the fine red glitter paper I found at Winner's/
Both the mat and candles are cut from the red glitter paper, it has just the right amount of shine to it!
Thanks for dropping by and having a look!!
Deneen
