Challenge - More Than 1 Fold
Tutorial - Tri-Fold Shutter Card
Tutorial - Tri-Fold Shutter Card
Here is my card to hopefully inspire you.
Card Size: 4" x 5.5"
I was at a Craft Show this past weekend selling some of my handmade paper creations. It went very well, thank-you to those who stopped by and said 'Hi'!! Now I have to start restocking my card stash for next year. I'm in need of some teen girl cards, and I thought I would start right away with this card.
When open, the card measures 5.5" x 12". I changed up my measurements just slightly from the Top Tip Tutorial. I needed mine to fit in a regular envelope. The card base measures 5.5" x 12", I scored it at 2", 4", 8" & 10", I only measured 1.25" in from the edge to cut my slits (instead of 1.5")
I added Red Stickles on the frame edges, and gave her a red rhinestone ring...a ruby ring:) It's difficult to see, but I added Gold Ice Stickles to the corners of the Caning Pattern (around the sentiment 'Beautiful').
Recipe: CTMH PP-That's Amore, CTMH CS-Colonial White & Black, CTMH Ink-Black & Tulip, CTMH SS-Be Yourself, Distress Inks-Anique Linen, Marianne Designs Frame LR0116, Nestabilities-Labels 18, Martha Stewart Anywhere Punch-Caning Pattern, EK Success-Wrought Iron Corner Punch, Foam Squares, Red Stickles, Gold Ice Stickles, Red Rhinestones, Lace Ribbon.
Be sure to pop over to Top Tip Tuesday to check out the other great More Than 1 Fold DT creations. Don't forget to go back and add your creation to Mr. Linky for a chance at some great prizes!!
Enjoy,
Deneen
