Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
We're not big Halloween celebrators here, so I decided to think outside of the box and since it's a night of costumes I decided to focus on that.  I coloured the image with Copics and kept it simple.  I used the font called Cheri and typed up the sentiment, playing on the word 'super'Looking at the image now I feel like I should have added a star or 2 by the sentiment.

Recipe: Bugaboo Digital Stamp-Guy Super, CTMH PP-Stardust, CTMH CS-Honey & White Daisy, Red CS, Spellbinders-Labels 23 & Fleur de Lis Squares, Font-Cheri, Rhinestones, Foam Squares, Copics-R29, B28, Y08, E00, E15, E17, W1, W3.

Tip:  I don't have alot of decorative corner dies so I look to my Spellbinders and other dies for possible corners...I used a corner piece from Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares for a decorative corner touch.

Hello and welcome here.  Hope you're enjoying the Fall weather...we actually had a couple of inches of snow here last week!  On to the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge, Things with Wings. Anything with wings will do, Birds, Butterflies, Fairies, flies etc., you get the idea.  Annette is sharing a great Tutorial on how to add clouds to your image with chalk.

Notebook Size: 3.25" x 4.5"
These were a lot of fun to cover and decorate.  I kept them simple, and tried not to put too much on the outside that could get caught and ripped off if you were to carry one in your purse.

Simon Says Stamp - $20 Gift Voucher

Robyn's Fetish - 4 Stamps of our choice

Here are some close-ups of the notebooks I covered, I plan to sell them at a craft show that I'm in.
The paper is old CTMH Bella, I used Spellbinders Floral Ovals, and Ovals, the bird and flower were felt embellishments from the dollar bins at Michaels.

I like to finish the inside cover as well.  I wrap the cover paper over the edges rather than cutting it to size because I don't like when the edges start to fray, or curl over time...and I knew that notebooks get handled more and it's a great way to secure the paper.

I used Echo Park Betty Bird paper to cover the notebook.  I found that the Memory Box birdcage die was a little too big for the front, so I cut the bottom part of the cage off and ended up with the perfect size. I finished it off with a little bow, and blue felt bird embellishment was from Michaels dollar bin.

I can't remember whose paper this is, but I used Marianne Designs doily, and Spellbinders Butterfly.  I added some Gold Ice Stickles around the butterfly wings and pearls for the body.

Head on over to the Top Tip Tuesday blog for more Things with Wings inspiration.
Enjoy,
Deneen
