Hello, I'm still here!

 Hello and welcome here.  I just popped in to say hi and to let you know I'm still here.  I lost my dad at the end of August to cancer and we spent time as a family visiting him this past summer, and then returned for the funeral.  I haven't had much time to create but I'm ready to get back into the swing of things so you'll be hearing from me real soon.

Washi Tape Organizer

Hello and welcome here!  I just had to pop in today to share with you an amazing organization tip/find.  Now, I can't take all the credit, lol, my friend Tracey (hi Tracey!!  If you haven't checked out her blog, rush there now...she's crazy talented and makes amazing projects for Heartfelt Creations!) bought some clear 3 drawer containers from Amazon to store her Washi Tape.  Well, I'm not an Amazon shopper and was excited that she found something...mine were just smushed into a plastic container.   Well, without even trying...isn't that the best when it happens...I was browsing at Home Sense (sort of like Winners) and saw this:

It's a coffee pod organizer.  I love clear containers for my craft area so that I can easily see what's inside.  Now, it only had 2 drawers (Tracey's had 3 drawers) but I was SURE that my Washi Tape would fit.  There were only 2, so I snatched up both.

 Well, I was just tickled pink when I fit them in!!!

 It fits even the larger rolls.

And the bestest part (yes, I just typed bestest, lol), it was only $7.99.  I'm not sure how much the ones Tracey got were, but I'll take $7.99 for an awesome organization idea!!!!

 

The good news is I fit all my Washi Tape in, the bad good news is I have another whole container to fill!!!!

Remembrance Day

Hello and welcome here on this Valentine's day!  And no, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, or  have been kicked off any design teams....yet, lol.  Our computer died.  Therefore I have no way to upload and edit any photos and this is why you have not heard from me.  So, as soon as we can get that piece of technology working again it will be back to work as usual.  Hope to see you later!!

Eureka!!!!!!!!! Oh bummer, lol.

Well, I've figured out why my photos went missing, lol.  Laughing is all I can do at the moment because crying will only mess up my makeup...just kidding, I don't wear makeup. 

My daughter has a tablet and she was low on memory so I told her to delete a bunch of my blog photos, really, what are they doing on your tablet anyway??  Well, low and behold, there was a reason.  So please be patient as I go through and try to figure out and reload my photos.  Lucky for me I'm a packrat and keep them in a folder once I've uploaded them.

And, laugh with me....

Just a Little Chit Chat

I just wanted to let you know of a couple things, all good:)

The first is I (think) I've managed to fix my photos...did they seem a little blurry to you, or maybe you thought your eyesight was going?  Or maybe you didn't even noticed:), that's okay, but it was starting to bug me, lol.  I started a little bit ago to edit all my photos in Photoshop, and while they looked fine there, by the time I uploaded them to my blog they seemed to be blurry...for a while I thought maybe it was just me.  Finally I made a few adjustments, and when I had the photos side-by-side, I could definitely tell they had been blurry.  So, I went back and fixed many of them and re-uploaded them to my blog. YAY!!

The second thing I wanted to share is that I've added a Pin It button to my photos so that you can very easily pin them to your boards over at Pinterest!! All you need to do now is click on the little Pin It button in the bottom right-hand corner, and a separate box will open.  Here's a couple of photo's  for you to try it on...if you like:)

A Soap Box Moment

I don't step on my soap box very often but I just have to vent my frustration this once.....if my REAL blog friends have any hints on how to stop it, I'd love to hear them:)

Okay, to make life easier for those who happen to comment on my blog I do not require Word Verification.  I could use Blog Owner Approval, but we all have busy lives and I don't have time to check my Blog Comments every day.  My problem----I am getting ssssssssoooooooooo tired of the SPAM left under my comments...and I'm not talking meat in a can here people.  Blogger catches most of them...trust me, my email inbox is full of them EVERY day...but there are still some that get through and I'm forced to go to each post to see which ones have been posted, and then delete them.  WHY people???? Do you really think I will click on your link for "cheap cigarettes", or "Nike Air Max", oh wait, hold the phone, you must think my finger is just itching to click on "Viagra."  Pfffft, yeah, right, do I have stupid written on my face.  And another thing, why are you pretending you are fluent in English?? If I was even considering clicking on your link, your unintelligible comment sure doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence that your product is legit. Go advertise somewhere else!!

Will I click on your Advertising Link??

'K, getting off my soap box now.  I don't like to use Word Verification, it's frustrating for you...trust me, I know, I'm on Design Teams where it's necessary to comment and it's a bit of a pain in the neck...especially when I get it wrong twice in a row, lol.  Does anyone know if there's a way NOT to accept Anonymous Comments...seeing as that's how they come most the time.
