Good luck and have fun!

I made a hanging ornament this month.  I used a 3 3/4" diameter styrofoam ball as my base.  I covered it with 4" wide organza ribbon and then added Arianna Lace Die diecuts and the flowers are from the Birds & Blooms set.  I stamped the flowers and cut them out using the matching die, I then coloured the tips of the flowers using Faded Jeans Distress Ink, I then shaped them using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

I attached the flowers using a straight pin, I then added Silver Ice Stickles to the centers to hide the pin.

Recipe:  Styrofoam Ball 3.75" dia., 4" Wide White Organza Ribbon, Lace Ribbon 1/4", CTMH Ink-Whisper, Distress Ink-Faded Jeans, Stickles-Silver Ice, HCSTI-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, HCPC-3644 Birds & Blooms Stamp Set, HCD1-756 Birds & Blooms Die, HCD1-747 Arianna Lace Die.

I'm the last in the Hop this time around, I hope you enjoyed seeing everyone's creations.  Good luck with the contest!!

Teddy Bo & Co. May Inspiration with Bea

Hello and welcome here!  It's time to share some Teddy Bo & Co. inspiration.  This time I have a discovery I want to share with you.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

There was some conversation going on on the DT about whether or not you could watercolour a digital image.  If you can get your paper to go through your printer it might just work.  Here's what I did...I printed my image on watercolour paper, let it dry overnight and then hit it with my heat tool for added measure.  I didn't have any issue with the ink bleeding.  I have a Hewlett Packard inkjet printer, I had to help the paper get started feeding but once it started it was fine...I used Strathmore 140lb paper.

I used Distress Inks to colour my image.

Distress Inks Used:
Dress - Tattered Rose & Wild Honey
Fur - Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo & Wild Honey
Flowers - Faded Jeans
Background - Pumice Stone

Recipe:  Paper-not sure, sorry:(, My Favorite Things Inside/Out Stitched Ovals, Spellbinders Lacey Ovals, Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Borders, Bazzill CS-Mocha Divine, Strathmore Watercolour Paper Cold Press 140lb., Distress Inks, Foam Squares, Flowers.

Enjoy,
