My Favourite Inspired Stamps Stamp

Hello and welcome here! I wasn't stuttering, lol, it happens to be the current Inspired Stamps DT last post:( and it was a tough one...choose our favourite Inspired Stamps stamp. I chose Inspired Stampers Favourite Collection #1. It's my favourite set because I submitted the verse Psalm 62:5 for the set. Antoinette has created so many great stamps it was hard to choose just one, and she keeps adding awesome new ones and that makes it harder, lol.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

My mom's favourite colour is blue and I make many of my cards with her in mind, I think she'll love this one (she hasn't seen it yet). I kept the card simple to showcase the verse.

Inside:

Another of my favourite sets is Flowers...I used it for the inside:) The sentiment is from Inspired Stampers Favourite Collection #1 too.

Hello and welcome here! Just a short little post today. I've had this card sitting around waiting to be photographed and shared with you and finally got around to it:)

The image is by Mo Manning and it's called Jack & Ginger, super sweet. I added the grass using a flicking motion with Copics, I love the way it turned out. I kept the card simple so that the image was the focal point. I used Flower Soft for the flowers that Jack is holding.

Hello and welcome here. I love the Home Grown Sugar Nellie images and I wanted to share one with you today. I print them up...yes, they're a digital image, something I thought I would never buy, but never say never, lol...and then colour them when I have time. Sometimes I colour them according to patterned paper, but this time I coloured Summer (that's the name of this image) and chose the paper that matched my colouring after. The sentiment is by Verve Stamps.

Inspired Stamps Triangle Star Card

Hello and welcome here! This week over at Inspired Stamps, it's DT choice. I found these easy to follow Triangle Star Card instructions HERE over on StampOwl's Studio. I loved how easy it was to make, and the shape beautifully sets off the verse I chose.

Card Size: approx. 6" square, closed

Here's the card partially opened...I haven't pulled the top flap all the way up.

Here it is fully opened, you can see how you start with a triangle and just add a few score lines to complete the card (I added the link for the instructions above.)

Here's the inside close-up, I stamped the stars with Outdoor Denim, and covered them with Gold Ice Stickles.

I stamped 'God' and 'Peace' in red on a separate piece of white CS, cut them out, attached them with foam squares, and outlined them with Golden Rod Stickles.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Blessed Little Christmas, Bo Bunny-Midnight Frost Collection, CTMH CS-White Daisy & Outdoor Denim, CTMH Ink-Black Tulip, Outdoor Denim & Creme Brulee, Nestabilities-Fancy Tags 2, Labels 18 & Lacy Ovals, Martha Stewart Gothic Arches Corner Punch, Stickles-Golden Rod & Gold Ice, Rhinestones, Foam Squares.

Inspired Stamps Sneak Peek Week

Hello and welcome here! Each day this week the Inspired Stamps DT is unveiling NEW Inspired stamp sets...these new stamps sets will be available to YOU this Fri. Aug. 19th at the Inspired Stamps online store. I posted the line-up at the bottom of this post.

Today Belinda and I are unveiling the new set - Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #2. I'm not sure if I shouted it out yet, but one of the verses I submitted for the Contest was chosen. Here's the card I made using my verse.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

What a great verse to share with someone who is going through a difficult time like a loss of a loved one, or a personal struggle. I used 2nd Generation stamping to add a flower to the sentiment, I felt that the whiteness needed to be broken up a bit.

The photo above is trying to show you that I added Crystal Ice Stickles to the embossed flourishes, it adds a bit of texture without being overbearing.

Card Inside:

The same flower I used with the sentiment on the outside of the card, I also stamped on the inside....but this time using 1st Generation stamping. The sentiment inside just happens to be from Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #1.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #2, Flowers & Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #1, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-Black & Petal, Purple Textured CS, Cream CS, Sizzix Butterfly Migration EF, Nestabilities-Ovals & Labels 18, Martha Stewart Small Butterfly Punch, Pearl, Cream Seam Binding Ribbon, Foam Squares, Crystal Ice Stickles, Recollections Pearl Brad.

Prayer Jar

Hello and welcome here! Inspired Stamps is sponsoring Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog again this week. The challenge is Use A Lot - use 3 or more of your favourite embellishment.

I altered a jar that held flowers to make a Prayer Jar. And I didn't put my reading glasses on, lol. I thought I needed to use 3 different embellishments, well, I managed to do both. I used 3+ pearls, and 3+ dots of Stickles, a flower, and lace ribbon. So I had all angles covered:)

You may remember this bear from last week, I made a winter card with him. This week I changed his coat colour and now he adorns my jar. I just love the options available with stamps, don't you?

Inspired Stamps Frame

Hello and welcome here!! This week at Inspired Stamps the DT is showcasing His Little Ones & a Verse. I thought it would be super sweet to make a frame.

Frame Size: 5" x 5.75"

I paper pieced the little girls jammies, and added white Flower Soft to her cuffs. The patterned paper I used for her jammies I also used for the flower. There are 4 layers to the frame which you can see in the photo below.

The light blue layer I used Martha Stewart punches around the edge, and Labels 4 Nestabilities in the middle. I added a dark blue and white oval mat on top. To make the frame I glued 2 pieces of white CS together, leaving the bottom 2" unglued so that I could bend it back (I scored a line before glueing) to hold the frame up.

The flower is 3 layers, I stamped it on white CS for the base, then added the paper pieced shaded with Copics next. I then stamped it once more on the patterned paper and cut off individual petals and added them...some of the petals I bent back, and the individual ones I added I bent up. The center of the flower is coloured on white CS and is also a separate layer.

Here's a close-up of the girl praying, I paper pieced her jammies and the rest is coloured with Copics.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-His Little Ones: Girl Praying, Philippians 1:3 & Flowers, CTMH CS-White Daisy, CTMH Ink-Black & Creme Brulee, Textured CS-Dark Blue & Light Blue, Core'dinations-Mantis Green CS, Little Yellow Bicycle-Purple Pansy Patterned Paper, Nestabilities-Labels 4, Ovals & Rectangles, Martha Stewart Swirling Lace Border & Corner Punch, Copics: Skin-YR0000, YR00, E00, R02, Hair-Y11, E23, E34, E27, Flower-V01, V09, V12, V15, White Gel Pen, Foam Squares, Pearls, Rhinestones, Marianne Designs Flourish LR0116, EK Success-Fountain of Fun Corner Punch.

Window Frame Card

Hello and welcome here. I picked up this new die by Heartfelt Creations, it's called Decorative Window Scene. Of course I had to try it out right away, so I started with a simple card.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

I stamped my image, turned it over and held it up to the light. I then traced the inside part of the frame onto the back, and then cut just outside the lines so that the edges would be covered by the frame itself. I then added foam squares behind the frame to give it a 3-D look. I finished it of with a cream seam binding bow.

Card Inside:

I use white bases for my cards and thought that it was a little too white, so I toned it down a bit with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Recipe: CTMH CS-White Daisy, Chocolate & Colonial White, Pattern Paper-K & Company Fall Harvest Green Acorn & Leaf Flat Paper, Seam Binding-Cream, Nestabilities-Fancy Tags, Heartfelt Creations-Decorative Window Scene, CTMH Ink-Black & Bamboo, CTMH SS-Happy Journey, Copics, Distress Inks-Vintage Photo & Antique Linen, Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps-Thomas Kincade Scripture 1 & Thomas Kincade Streams of Living Water.

My little guy (who is 3) was at it again. This morning I poured him his cereal and thinking he might want to go outside with his sister I asked him, "Where do you want to eat it?" He replies, "In my mouth." Oh, yes, that would be the place to eat it, roflol.

Inspired Stamps Candle

Hello and welcome here! You get 2-for-1 today, lol. I was going to post 1 candle today, and 1 next week, but when I looked at my schedule, it doesn't meet the criteria for next week. So lucky you I'll be sharing both today:)

This week at Inspired Stamps, it's Designer's Choice. I've done cards up until now and decided I needed to shake things up with a candle. I have a Candle Stamping Tutorial HERE. It's super easy. The candle is 4" high, and the workable surface was 3" high.

I thought this would be a nice girly candle. I stamped my image on tissue paper, and coloured with Copics...be sure to stamp and colour on scrap paper because the ink does bleed through. It's very difficult to blend on tissue paper, but I was able to a little bit.

I used a Martha Stewart border punch and butterfly punch to add detail to the candle. I used different coloured tissue paper.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-His Little Ones: Girl Praying, More Perfect Sentiments & Flowers, Purple, Memento Black Ink, White & Pink Tissue Paper, Rhinestones, Stickles, Marianne Designs Flourish LR0116, Martha Stewart Pinking Scallop & Small Butterflies Punch, Heat Tool, Wax Paper, Copics-R83, R85, YR01, R02, E08, E09, E18, 0, 100, V09, V12, V15, White Gel Pen.

Inspired Stamps Used:

The second candle I made using Inspired Stamps I wanted to highlight a verse.

To make the frame, I first cut the oval shape out of a piece of purple tissue paper. I then used Labels 18 to cut out the shape and adhered it to the candle. I cut an oval out of white tissue paper, stamped the verse and inked the edges, and fit it into the oval purple shape and adhered it.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #1 & Flowers, Purple & White Tissue Paper, CTMH Ink-Black, Nestabilities-Ovals, Labels 18, Copics-Y21, YR23, R81, R83, R85, Pink Pearls, Heat Tool, Wax Paper.

Be sure to stop by the other Inspired Stamps DT blogs to see what they created this week, their links are in my sidebar.

So my 1 daughter is home from Camp, and the other one just left. I survived...and so did she. We'll see how the next one fairs, lol. As I was snapping pictures of the kids I told Spencer to "Stand up tall," and here's what he did:

Too funny, that's a keeper for sure. It'll be perfect to bring out when he gets married, lol.

Take care,

Deneen
