Mad 4 Markers One for the Girls

Hello and welcome here!  Actually, I am not here, I'm enjoying some time away at a Crop so hopefully this has posted when it should and you are reading it now. It's a new month and that means it's a new Mad 4 Markers Challenge, this month the challenge is One for the Girls, anything for a female will fit the bill.

Challenge - One for the Girls
If you love Copics, why don't you join the Mad 4 Markers Challenge this month!

You have until the end of May to enter a project coloured with Copics.

There's a prize to be won!!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I used the digital image called Flora found at Funky Kits.  She's so pretty, even before colouring her up, and the great thing is that the shading is already on the image to help you along in your colouring.  I try to keep my cards a little more simple so that it doesn't overpower the image that I took the time to colour.

Hair - YR30, YR31, Y32, YR24

Inspired Stamps Flower and Verse

Hello and welcome here.  Happy 2nd day of May.  I hope you are enjoying warm Spring weather where you are...we had snow.  Yep, you read right, we woke up to snow, it almost felt like it was Nov. 1st, not May 1st.  But, if you're a bit down because of the weather, I have a cheery Spring card to share with you today.  This week the Inspired Stamps DT are showcasing flowers and a verse.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I chose a verse from the Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #2 stamp set, and the tulip is from one of my favourite sets Flowers. I embossed my white CS and then with my craft knife cut slits in the corners to tuck my Spring Iris CS into.  I stamped the flower using Blush ink onto Baby Pink CS, and then used my CTMH Blending Pen and Baby Pink ink to give the flower a bit of dimension.

Inside:
I used another flower from the Flowers set, and the words are from the Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #2.

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #2 & Flowers, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Spring Iris & Baby Pink, CTMH Ink-Blush, Baby Pink, Spring Iris & Black, Cuttlebug EF-Tiffany, Heartfelt Creation Die-Layered Scalloped Posy, CTMH Blending Pen, Foam Squares, Pearls.

Inspired Stamps Used:

I Made the Heartfelt Creations Design Team!!

I'm so excited to be able to share with you that I made the Heartfelt Creations Design Team!!!  Thanks to everyone who sent me good luck wishes, it made me feel warm and fuzzy to know that you wished the best for me:) To celebrate, I made up a quick card to share with you.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
Purple is not a good colour to photograph, lol.  I had a hard time getting a good shot, the purple is so pretty in real life, but I wasn't able to capture it, or edit it to reflect the true colour.  Oh well, you'll just have to go buy the paper so that you can see how pretty it is, lol:)

Inside:
Recipe:  HC PP-Delicate Asters Collection, HC SS-Heartfelt Expressions & Script Aster Background, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Bassill CS-dark purple textured, CTMH Ink-Petal & Black, Spellbinders-Floral Ovals, HC Die-Layered Scalloped Posy, Pearls, Foam Squares, Celebrate It White Satin Edge Organza Ribbon.

My first official project for Heartfelt Creations (HC) will be the May New Release, next week!!!

Top Tip Tuesday Moving Parts Card

Hello and welcome here!  Wow, it's hard to believe it's the last day of April.  This week the Challenge at Top Tip Tuesday is Moving Parts.  Your project needs to have something on it that pops up or moves.

Challenge - Moving Parts
Tutorial - Wiper Card by Elaine

Card Size closed:  4.25" x 5.5"

I found a card by Brenda that I thought was perfect for this challenge!  It's called a Three Tier Pull Card.  In the picture above, the 'card' is closed, to open it you would pull up on the tab at the top.  I changed my card up a bit differently than Brenda's, I made mine to measure 4.25" x 5.5", and decorated it instead of using photo's.

Mad 4 Markers Autumn Challenge

Hello and welcome here!  In my part of the world, we're trying...and I mean trying...to have Spring.  We still have a lot of snow to get rid of, and it's almost May!!  What happened to April showers bring May flowers?  This month at Mad 4 Markers (located in Australia), the Challenge is Autumn, you have until the end of the month to join us.

April Challenge - Autumn
If you love Copics, why don't you join the Mad 4 Markers Challenge this month!

You have until the end of April to enter a project coloured with Copics.

There's a prize to be won!!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I used the Simply Adorable Digital image called Hope, from Funky Kits...I think she is super sweet, and absolutely loved colouring her in the warm Autumn colours. The great thing about Copics is that you can go back and continue colouring, even after days.  I see that her bow in her hair looks a little too pink for me, so I'll go back and add a bit more red to make it look more like the bow on the front of her dress.

Copics Used:
Skin - E000, E00, YR00, R20
Hair - Y11, Y15, YR23, YR27
Eyes - YG45
Dress - R32, R35, R37, R39
Bows - R30, R32, R35
Background - Y32, YR30
Outline - W3

Recipe:  Funky Kits Simply Adorable Digital SS-Hope, PP-Forever Fall 6x6 Collection, CTMH CS-White Daisy & Garnet, Cheery Lynn Designs-Victorian Romance Flourish, Spellbinders-Labels 18, Recollection Roses, Prima Sugar Plum Roses, Foam Squares, Copics.
Here is the Mad 4 Markers inspiration image for April's Autumn Challenge.
You have until the end of April to link up your Autumn creation!

Remember, you have all of April to join M4M's Autumn Challenge, and if you need more inspiration, pop by the M4M blog and check out April's DT creations.

Enjoy,
Deneen

Inspired Stamps Alphabet Stamps

Hello and welcome here!  This week at Inspired Stamps we're showcasing alphabet stamps, and Antoinette has several great ones to choose from.

Card Sizes: 4.25" x 5.5"
I used the newly released Solid Alphabet Upper Case for the front of my card.  I'm always needing Birthday cards for my stash, so I also used the same technique and stamps for a masculine card, just scroll down to see it.  I inked my letters with my lightest ink first, and then gently rolled the stamp from the bottom up, into my darker ink...the result is a 2-toned sentiment!

Inside:
For the inside I used the Label Maker Alphabet, it's perfect for when you need a smaller sized sentiment.

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Solid Alphabet Upper Case & Label Maker, PP-Basic Grey Kissing Booth Butterfly Kisses, CS-Bazzill light purple & dark purple, Glitter CS-American Crafts Mulberry, Spellbinders-Resplendent Rectangles,  Decorative Dress Forms & Jewel Flowers and Flourishes, Marianne Designs Frame LR0116, CTMH Ink-Black, Foam Squares, Paper Studio Gemstones, Corner Rounder.

Here's the masculine version of the 2-toned sentiment.  Same stamp set, and I inked the stamp in green, and rolled from the bottom using Moonstruck.

Inside:
For the inside I used the Label Maker Alphabet, and the outlines that come with it too!

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Solid Alphabet Upper Case & Lable Maker Alphabet, PP-BoBunny Mama Razzi2 Shutterbug & CartaBella Well Traveled Postage, CTMH Ink-Garden Green & Moonstruck, CS-Bazzill dark brown, Foam Squares, Dollarama Stars, Spellbinders-Labels 28.

Inspired Stamps Used:
Solid Alphabet Upper Case
Label Maker Alphabet

Be sure to check out which Alphabet stamps the rest of the DT used, their links are in my sidebar!
Enjoy,
