Inspired Stamps Love Card

Hello and welcome here! This week the Inspired Stamps DT is sharing the love:) With Valentine's Day sneaking up I thought about doing a tradional type of Valentine's card, but then my eyes fell on the stamp set BEARS all Things and I decided to use it since I hadn't inked it up in a while, and I love the saying too!

Card Size: 4.25" square

I used a pretty pink paper, and paper pieced the bear's shirt with it also. I inked up the sentiment separately so that I could use 'THIS MUCH' on a flag for the bear to hold. I finished the card off with a few pearls. I can't wait to give this to my girls for Valentine's Day with a 'Mommy and Daddy too' inside.

Inside:

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-BEARS all Things & 1" Circle Sentiments, PP-Basic Grey Butterfly Kisses, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Memento Black Ink, CTMH Ink-Black & Blush, Marianne Designs Doily LR0168, Flower Soft Wire, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Foam Squares, Pearls, Nestabilities-Labels 22, Copics-C1, C3, R81, RV11, YR30.

A White Wedding Card

Hello and welcome here! I had a friend ask me to make a wedding card for her. She said they enjoyed the outdoors, and to do it in blues. This was the card I came up with for her. I find all, or almost all, white cards difficult, but I think this one turned out well.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

I made a frame for the image with Spellbinders Labels 4, and embossed the background mat. I added touches of blue to tie into the image. Boy, it's difficult to take a picture of white, but you get the idea.

Inside:

Recipe: CTMH CS-White Daisy & Moonstruck, CTMH Ink-Moonstruch, Black & Creme Brulee, CTMH SS-Beautiful Things & Bliss, Nestabilities-Labels 4 & Fancy Tags, Craft Concepts Budding Vine EF, Martha Stewart French Scroll Border Punch, Pearls, Foam Squares, White Satin Ribbon.

Inspired Stamps Nature Card

Hello and welcome here! This week the Inspired Stamps DT are sharing projects that include nature and a verse. I try to think up something different so that you aren't bored with me showing you the same thing over and over, and hopefully you're inspired to look at your stamps in a new way. Well I think I have a special treat for you today, I must say I even impressed myself, lol.

I started in my mind with sponged clouds for a sky, and patterned paper for grass. I wanted to do something different and as I was looking at the Label Maker Alphabet stamp set I envisioned a brick wall. Yep, I don't have a clue how my brain does it, it even surprises me sometimes too. The brick wall is made up of 4 of the different frames from the stamp set.

Card Size: 5" x 5"

I stamped the 'bricks' with black ink, and coloured them with Copics W1, W3, and E40. They are outlined with W5. I coloured each block making sure NOT to blend it very well. I then went over it lightly with the Colorless Blender, and that makes is look like stone. The grout in between is coloured with E42.

Inside:

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Label Maker Alphabet, Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #1, More Perfect Sentiments, Flowers, PP-not sure, got from a bin, CTMH CS-White Daisy & Sweet Leaf, CTMH Ink-Fancy Tags, Recollections Floral Embellishments, Flower Soft-Fuschsia, Bosskut-Floral Flourish, Foam Squares, Pearls, Stickles-Platinum, Copics-E42, W1, W3, W5, E40.

Inspired Stamps Used:
Label Maker Alphabet - Wall
Inspired Stampers Favorite Collection #1 - Sentiment on front

You may rotate or flip the sketch, add a few extra embellishments or elements but please ensure the original sketch is clearly visible in your finished creation.

Sew Sweet
Here is a shot of the different layers on my card. Instead of a banner, I used clouds to frame my sentiment. I also curled up the one edge of the rainbow so that it didn't look so flat.
Recipe: CTMH PP-Stardust & various B&T papers, CTMH CS-Outdoor Denim, Dutch Blue & White Daisy, Digital Stamp-Karen's Doodles Tiger Fun, Sentiment Stamp-Flourishes Tag Lines, CTMH SS-Everyday Celebration (inside card), Craft Concepts Budding Vine EF, Nestabilities-Labels 3 & Ovals, Papertrey Ink Die-Clouds, CTMH Ink-Dutch Blue, Outdoor Denim, Petal, Black & Olive, Distress Ink-Vintage Photo, Rhinestones, Foam Squares, Copics (see below).

Here's a close-up of the tiger. He was difficult to add fur strands because the orange is actually a small area to colour, but I tried my best. The balloons were fun to colour, they're a great image to perfect your blending skills because it's a large colourable area.

Copics Used:
Fur-YR04, YR14, YR30, Y32, N7, R20, R22
Balloons-Y04, Y08, V12, V15, B12, B14
Sky-BG0000

Inside:

Here's the first card I made with my image, but decided that the green wasn't making it sky enough looking, if that makes sense, lol. I also changed up the banner to a cloud, since the blue on the final card looks more sky'ish. So yes, I took my card all apart and reused only the image and rainbow.

For more inspiration from the Sketch be sure to head over to Top Tip Tuesday and see what the rest of the DT did, as well as the Guest Designers Hilda and Audhild.

Inspired Stamps Sneak Peek - Lovely Lace

Hello and welcome here! It's Sneak Peek week at Inspired Stamps!! That means lovely creations this week by the DT to excite you. There are several gorgeous stamps sets being released, and they'll be available in the Inspired Stamps Store on Friday!!!

Today I'm showing a Sneak Peak of the stamp set called Lovely Lace.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

I've noticed that the colours pink, white, and black are popular right now so I used that for my colour scheme. I also added a touch of red around the sentiment so that it didn't blend into the background. The doily stamp is a full doily, but I chose to use a portion of it.

I added Pink Stickles to the heart and around the doily for some sparkly fun!

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Lovely Lace, PP-BoBunny A Gift of Love Collection, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Red & Pink CS, Martha Stewart Vintage Floral Border Punch, Marianne Designs Flourish LR0116, Nestabilities-Classic Scallop Circles & Standard Circles Sm., Craft Concepts Buddin Vine EF, Pink Stickles, Pink Rhinestones, Foam Squares, White Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by! Had my brain not let me down, I would have been sharing this on Tuesday with you, but for some reason it tricked me into thinking that I was to share my card on Thursday, bad brain, bad....I think I almost gave Antoinette a heart attack, she thought something serious must be wrong with me since I didn't post on my day...ah, no, nothing serious, just a faulty brain. I think I need a new one, anyone have a real reliable one kicking around that they want to give me...I'm even willing to do an exchange, lol.

Cheers,
Deneen

Inspired Stamps Birthday Card

Hello and welcome here! I managed to get some of my mojo back just in time for another Inspired Stamps card, this week it was Anything Goes for the DT. I always need Birthday cards so that's what I decided to make. Be sure to check out the great projects by the rest of the DT, their links are in my sidebar.

Card Size:4.25" x 5.5"

Since I seem to be on a sign kick, I used that idea here as well, this time with a circle sentiment. The sentiment fits perfect on the Eyelet Circles by Spellbinders.

I added some Stickles around the eyelets for sparkle, and layered some different Spellbinders dies to frame the sentiment.

Inside:

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-1.5 Inch Circles Greetings, Flowers & More Perfect Sentiments, CTMH CS-Gypsy, White Daisy & Spring Iris, Black Textured CS, CTMH Ink-Black, Gypsy & Petal, Craft Concepts Budding Vine EF, Nestabilities-Eyelet Circles, Fancy Tags, Twisted Metal Tags and Accents & Lables 10, EK Success Interlaced Corner Punch, Foam Squares, Purple Rhinestones, Crystal Ice Stickles, White Organdy Ribbon.

Top Tip Tuesday Tri-Fold Type Card

Happy New Year!! Welcome here for another year of (hopefully) inspiring creations:)

It's time for a Top Tip Tuesday Challenge! It's another Anything Goes, gotta love those, and it's Tipper Week, so be sure to head over to TTT to see some great Tips by the DT. (Or you can check out their blogs, their links are in my sidebar.)

A new feature at TTT is that the Challenges will run for 2 weeks! That gives you plenty of time to join in.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

My card is a Tri-Fold type of card. When I was designing it, I thought the doily edge looked like a flap, so I decided to design the card around it being a flap. You can see what I mean in the photos below. I want to thank Stamp Fairy for the image I used, she's super sweet and is called Molly Throughout the Year December.

Sponsor's:

Simon Says Stamp - $20 Gift Voucher for their store

Stamp Fairy - $10 Gift Certificate to use in their store

Crimson Cloud - 3 packs of Die Cuts

Now for more photos of my Trifold card. I cut out 2 doily edges and glued the one inside the card first. Because it is perfectly symmetrical, I was able to line up the edge, and holes, and glue the other doily on the outside.

Here's the card fully open.
Recipe: Stamp Fairy-DigiStamp Molly Throughout The Year December, CTMH SS-Pair-a-Phrase, For Every Occasion & Card Commentary, Flourishes Stamps-Tag Lines, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Light & Dark Pink Textured CS, PP-My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Two, CTMH Ink-Black, Distress Inks-Aged Mahogany & Antique Linen, Pearls, Rhinestone, Foam Squares, Michaels Celebrate It Ribbon, Martha Stewart Swirling Lace Corner Punch, Nestabilities-Fancy Labels & Labels 14, Papertrey Ink-Edgers #2 Collection,Wilton 4" Doily, Copics (see below).

Here's a close-up of Molly. Because the card had lots of pink already I pulled the green from the patterned paper to colour her dress.

Copics Used:
Skin-E00, E000, YR00, R02
Hair-E13, E08, E19, 0
Dress-G40, G21, G24
Socks-YR30, Y32
Headband-YR30, YR31, Y32

My Top Tip for you:
Don't forget the little details, they can take your card from nice to stunning. Pearls and rhinestones are great for this, and even adding foam squares behind your image adds a little pizzaz! I should have taken a picture of the card without the pearls to show you a before and after.

If you want a chance to win some great prizes, be sure to link your creation at Top Tip Tuesday!
Enjoy,
Deneen

Inspired Stamps Happy New Year Card

Hello and welcome here! This week the Inspired Stamps DT is sharing New Years creations with you, so be sure to check out what they've created, their links are in my sidebar.

I have to tell you this card gave me the run around, lol. I had hit a creative block and couldn't seem to create something new, so I went with some 'old' ideas for my New Years card:) It's not the fanciest of cards I've made, but sweet and simple.

Card Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

My fall back design for cards is to choose 2 different patterened papers, and separate them with a border, or ribbon. Then I couldn't seem to figure out what to do for an image/sentiment. I really liked the idea I used last week inside my card with the tree, so I copied that idea for the front...and used some Spring-like colours. This time I used a piece of thread to loop around the tree branch to hold the sign. I sponged the clouds, and used foam squares to add the tree and sentiment.

Recipe: Inspired Stamps-Ask, Seek, Knock, Grasses, 1" Circle Sentiments, Labelmaker Alphabet & Blessed Little Christmas, CTMH PP-Miracle, CTMH CS-White Daisy & Olive, CTMH Ink-Black, Chocolate, Sweet Leaf, Breme Brulee & Sky, Nestabilities-Labels 14 & Labels 20, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Brown Thread, Rhinestones, Foam Squares, Copics-G24 & E15.

Inspired Stamps Used:
Ask, Seek, Knock (tree)
Grasses (grass)
1" Circle Sentiments (sentiment)
Label Maker Alphabet (frame)
Blessed Little Christmas (stars)
